Lake|Flato collaborates closely with both institutions and communities to establish the natural, historical and cultural contexts of its Civic and Cultural projects. Through our designs, we seek to reinforce how a community uses public or spiritual space to express its unique values and highest aspirations.
Our Civic and Cultural projects have been honored with international and national design awards such as a design award from Faith & Form, an annual design awards program co-sponsored by Faith & Form Magazine and the Interfaith Forum on Religion, Art and Architecture.
