DePauw University, Prindle Institute for Ethics

Located on a wooded rise above an abandoned limestone quarry, the site for this new academic conference facility is within walking distance of the main campus, situated within the 500-acre DePauw University Nature Park. Lake | Flato’s design for the Institute includes conference facilities, an auditorium, library, dining rooms, and guest suites for visiting scholars. The facilities are grouped, village-like, around a central courtyard, providing all public spaces with connections to communal outdoor rooms and vistas to the park.
