We are pleased to introduce four new L|Fer's who come to us from across the country.
Seema Kairam joins us most recently from San Francisco, where she was teaching an architecture studio at UC Berkeley with Deborah Berke. Originally from Pelham, NY, Seema received her MArch from Yale. She recently took a roadtrip from California to Texas, making many stops along her way to Lake Flato. Check out her awesome pictures in her first dogrun post, Destination Lake Flato.
Maite Bermudez is our newest architecture intern from University of Texas at Austin. Maite was born and raised in Mexico City. She enjoys a wide variety of dancing and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.
Corey Squire is our new Sustainability Coordinator. He hails from Mineola, New York, which is discernible from his accent. Corey received his BA in Environmental Studies from Oberline College in Ohio, and spent the last 5 years in New Orleans. He earned his MArch from Tulane University and then began work as a research fellow at Eskew + Dumez + Ripple. Since moving to San Antonio, Corey has developed his newest hobby: swimming in Greg's pool. Who could blame him?
Nisara Maredia is our new receptionist. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and is enjoying her venture into the design industry. Although originally from Houston, Nisara lived in India for ten years. She can be found playing cricket and badminton in her free time, or perhaps enjoying herself while watching terrible foreign films.
Welcome to LF, y'all!
