Old Intern Returns for Fresh Gig

Say hello to Karla Edwards, previously Lake|Flato intern Karla Wallace from summer 2009-2010 and an alumni of Rice University. She has hit the ground running on Camana Bay. Her favorite Lake|Flato project is Armstrong Oil & Gas because of its cool strategies in adaptive reuse, like removing the enclosure in the middle of the building in order to form a courtyard. Along with architecture, she loves chemistry and once considered going into art restoration.
