Welcome to our newest crop! Let's meet them from left to right:
Sam Vonderau will be working on Georgia Tech's Engineered Biosystems Building. He hails from Ft. Wayne and Ball State University in Indiana and has been in Austin, Texas for the last two years interning at Central for Maximum Potential Building Systems and working at McKinney York Architects.
Jamie Sartory is working in residential and considers herself from "America" - that is because she is quite the traveler, having lived in multiple places including Hyde Park, New York, Atlanta, Georgia, and Auburn, Alabama. At Rural Studio in Alabama, Jamie built her thesis by day and created a complete archive by night.
Ciro Dimson is our newest intern who will be helping out with the Alamo Beer project and residential. Although born in Germany, Ciro grew up in Sana Ana, California and recently worked for Pyatt Studio in Boulder, Colorado and MNM mod prefab in Santa Monica, California. He is eager to get to work after an adrenaline rush from bungee jumping in Angeles National Forest.
Mindy Gudzinski will be aiding residential projects and traveled 2200 miles to do so. She is from Edmonton, Canada and first fell in love with Lake|Flato at the Ghost Lecture where Ted spoke. This is her first time in Texas after coming to us from an internship at Olson Kundig Architects and graduating with her MA from Dalhousie.
Jeanna Goodrich is our new marketing coordinator who will be getting her hands dirty in all corners of the firm. She grew up in La Grange, Texas and attended Trinity University for her BA in English and is currently finishing her MS in Computer Science at St. Mary's (where she also worked as a graphic designer in the Office of Communications).
Please welcome our newest Lake|Flatonians!
