Craft Call: Graham Martin

Interview By Matt Morris: "Graham Martin was a partner with Lake | Flato when the firm was just getting started in the late 80’s and through the 90’s. Before that he was an intern architect with Ford Powell and Carson along with David, Ted, Karla, Bill, and Matt. Graham was project architect on several notable projects like the Carraro House in Kyle Texas, the Zuni Grill on the River, Paesanos Restaurants and the Linda Pace House in San Antonio. He also had a hand in the Witte Treehouse and made all the special light fixtures for that project. Graham designed and made many of the light fixtures for early Lake Flato buildings and still has a hand in current projects. He produced light fixtures for the recently completed Sunshine Cottage and St. Johns College projects. He currently is working up designs for the Scott Visitor Center in West Virginia. In addition to all this Graham is a fine sailor and great fly fisherman."
