Better Know an LF'er: KEEGAN RALEIGH

Keegan is the fifth intern that has contributed to the Porch House effort and the Lake Flato office. She piled in and immediately helped on numerous Porch House projects including Prow, Little Woods, Walker Porch House amongst others and non Porch House work that has drifted into the studio. In addition, she worked on several “Ted Projects” that deserve extra time, patience and cause one to work light on their feet, so to speak. She somehow was always able to translate my cryptic sketches into beautiful diagrams and graphics. From the beginning Keegan was always eager to learn, take on challenges, and have a good time while doing so. These skills will serve her well in grad school next year. It was such a pleasure teaching her that I often found myself explaining details or construction techniques well beyond the original discussion. “Keegs” also enjoys rapping part time but is not so great as a Flake Lato mouth bag participant. She makes up for it with her love of a good IPA and temporary tattoos and was an important contributor to our kickball team. She will be sorely missed by the Sweet Angel Babies on Tuesday nights as well as the Porch House team and Lake Flato office. We wish her good luck in grad school at Washington and enjoy those IPA’s!
