Pine Ridge Residence

This weekend home in East Texas sits in a 670-acre forest bordered by a 100-acre private lake. To provide privacy for owners and visitors alike, a trio of sleeping pavilions (master suite, bunkhouse and guesthouse) surrounds the main living pavilion in the center of the compound. Poles of indigenous lodge pine serve as the primary vertical structure, mimicking the surrounding trees. Flagstone and gravel pathways organically connect the pavilions, which appear to float above the forest floor.
