Broadford Farm Pavilion
Sun Valley, ID
Built as a retreat from the main house, the Broadford Farm Pavilion seems to float in a natural clearing along the Big Wood River. The strength of this project draws from the pure expression of its structure, where each component displays a simplicity and elegance of detail. During the summer, the glass doors of the communal space roll away. A simple palette of materials, including local Douglas fir, is in-keeping with local farm structures, while the glass bays lend lightness and fluidity between the pavilion and its surroundings.
